On today’s episode I speak with Elise Disher - an early childhood consultant and teacher with oodles of experience in supporting not only young children but the families and educators that support them. Today we’re delving into a concept that not only provides a critical lens through which we view and support behavior but also holds lifelong implications for children’s holistic wellbeing - attachment.

Elise and I discuss:

🌸 What is attachment and why is it crucial for young children?

🌸 How can we become attuned and responsive educators and navigate the delicate balance between being a do-er and a be-er.

🌸 Tangible ways to bridge the divide between home and care spaces.

🌸 How we can support children transition into new spaces through the lens of attachment.

🌸 Leaning into trusting the process of attachment.
