Everyone is posting about the agents that write the blog post and build the landing page. Bastien Botella has 55 agents in production running marketing at Fountain, and he'll tell you that layer is the easiest thing he built.

Bastien runs growth and marketing at Fountain — the platform behind high-volume frontline hiring for companies like El Pollo Loco, Bojangles, and UPS — and picked up RevOps on top of it less than a year ago. His path here is unusual: he co-founded a Paris startup, Clevy, co-created CSML, an open-source programming language for conversational AI used by tens of thousands of engineers, sold the company to Fountain, and landed in engineering before walking toward the go-to-market side of the house.

What he's built since is the most complete version of agent-run marketing we've come across. His team calls it Marketing OS: a roster of agents that collects everything the company knows — ad platforms, Salesforce, Gong, product analytics, public market signals — analyzes it overnight, and hands the team scoped work every single morning. Daily sprints instead of two-week ones. In this conversation with LeanScale co-founder Anthony Enrico, Bastien walks through the architecture layer by layer, then opens the books on what it actually found — including one LinkedIn ad correlation that saved them over $10,000 in month one.
