Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) provides a streamlined, cost-effective freight solution for sellers to transport goods directly into Amazon’s fulfillment network. By offering both Amazon Managed Placement and Seller Managed Placement, the program simplifies complex supply chain requirements, allowing for efficient deconsolidation or direct shipping to regional fulfillment centers. AGL distinguishes itself from traditional freight forwarders by eliminating "Bill 2" hidden fees, providing transparent, all-in pricing. The program is rapidly expanding its global reach, including new lanes to Canada and Australia, while increasing support for hazardous materials like lithium-ion batteries. With an average onboarding time of five days and the introduction of contract pricing for larger sellers, AGL aims to enhance speed and predictability. As the service evolves, it continues to integrate deeper into Amazon’s FBA flywheel, offering sellers a more reliable and economical path to inventory availability.
