Healthcare systems historically rely on scarcity and triage, but AI enables a shift toward abundance by allowing clinicians to reach every patient. Hippocratic addresses this through the "Polaris" architecture, which utilizes 31 specialized models running in parallel to ensure clinical safety and low latency. By integrating domain-specific context into audio LLMs and employing rigorous human-in-the-loop evaluations, the system achieves a 99.89% "no harm" accuracy rate, outperforming human benchmarks. This approach prioritizes lossless speed optimizations, such as 4-bit quantization and speculative decoding, to maintain high-quality, empathetic interactions. With over 200 million clinical interactions completed, the platform demonstrates that AI can effectively handle complex tasks like medication verification and nurse escalation, ultimately expanding access to care without replacing human clinicians.
