Dan Ben-David: Israel is on the brink of a spiral of collapse

Israel faces an existential "spiral of collapse" driven by unsustainable demographic shifts and a fragmented education system. With the Haredi population doubling every 25 years and largely lacking modern economic skills, the current trajectory threatens the nation's ability to maintain a first-world economy, healthcare system, and military. Prof. Dan Ben-David argues that the country must overhaul its educational structure by mandating a universal, rigorous core curriculum—including math, English, science, and civics—for all sectors. Without this intervention, the shrinking tax base and growing dependency will erode the country's viability.
