Most people believe they’re stuck because they lack discipline, better habits, or a stronger strategy. But the real problem might be something far deeper — a neurological and psychological “glitch” caused by protecting an outdated version of yourself.

In this episode, Dr. JC Doornick explores the hidden trap of certainty and how the brain builds a rigid identity around past experiences, beliefs, and conditioning. When that identity becomes fused with reality itself, growth feels threatening, and change triggers resistance. JC breaks down why the modern world rewards cognitive liquidity — the ability to adapt, question assumptions, and evolve your thinking — and how loosening your grip on being right can unlock the next level of your life.

Through insights into ego, perception, neuroplasticity, and personal awakening, this conversation reveals why everything you want in life often lies on the other side of discomfort — and how learning to decode the game rather than defending your position in it can set you free.
