对于主播Maelle和Meimei来说：

他们大部分时间都在睡觉。And then the rest of the time, they usually watch a movie or read.

网上有个很火的词是“raw-dogging a flight”，刚好就和“长途飞行”有关。

01. What Is “Raw-dogging a flight”? 什么是“硬抗式飞行”？

Raw-dogging a flight是一个新的打卡项目。It means doing a flight with no entertainment (在航班上不进行任何娱乐活动). No movies, no music, no phone... maybe not even sleeping.

Raw-dogging reality字面意思是“硬扛现实”，在飞行时全程不靠任何娱乐来分散注意力。最近很多年轻人开始挑战这种“极简飞行法”。

它并不是“折磨自己”，而是像一种“注意力训练”。It’s like fixing your attention span (调整你的注意力时长).

Raw-dogging：硬抗现实，就是在试图延长我们对一件事情的专注力。

02. Why Do People “Raw-dog Reality”? 年轻人为什么要“硬扛现实”？

Raw-dogging本身是一个有些粗俗的俚语（a crude slang），but now it’s being used in a very different way. Raw-dogging中的raw尤其突出了这种不加任何修饰和添加的最原始状态。

这种“硬扛”的方式，就是人们在说：“我不要被算法投喂（no algorithm feeds），我要掌控自己的注意力！”“I can handle reality (直面现实), I don’t need distractions (额外的消遣)!” 这有点像是一种全新的个人挑战。

But it’s hard.尤其是在长途飞行（long-haul flight）中，对于两位主播来说，她们暂时还没有做好放弃电影、零食和毯子的准备。

主播Maelle认为，raw-dogging reality有些像重新宣告召回自己的精神空间（reclaiming your mental space），让大脑清静一下。She sees it more as making time for things she wants to do — like reading. It doesn’t have to be extreme (极端).

主播Meimei认为，大家还是在需要找一种属于自己的方式，允许自己和“无聊”相处。

03. From Flights to Daily Life 从航班到日常生活的新潮流

在生活中已经有人开始践行raw-dogging reality了，but some of the posts online are quite wild right。最激进的版本是“连水都不喝，饭也不吃，眼睛一动不动”，就坐在那里“raw-dogging（硬抗）”。

而且，现在raw-dogging reality这种行为已经从“坐飞机”迁移到了日常生活。People are raw-dogging the subway (上下班通勤不戴耳机), long queues (排队不刷手机)...这都是一种有意识的“无聊”。

04. What’s the Message Behind It? 背后蕴藏着什么信息？

Raw-dogging reality像是一种形式上的反抗（a quiet rebellion）。People are so overwhelmed (情感难以禁受) by content — videos, ads (广告), messages — so they fight back (反击) by doing nothing.

很多人在社交媒体上说：“我能忍受无聊，这也是一种能力。”看似佛系，实则是一种“反刺激”行动。用发呆来夺回自己的时间和专注力。

It’s kind of ironic (讽刺的). They go online to share how they didn’t go online. 明明是在“逃离社交媒体”，结果最后还是要发个帖子和短视频，打卡分享“我成功raw-dog了一趟航班”，再次紧跟一波潮流。

Maybe it’s not about quitting completely.杜绝一切娱乐真的不太可能，不过这是一个很好的重新设定边界的机会。It’s more about awareness (意识) — like proving to yourself you can live without constant input (持续输入). 给大脑“按下暂停键”，重新连接真实的世界。

This trend is more popular with Gen Z (Z世代).年轻人现在压力大、信息过载，大家都在寻找一种平衡。而这种什么都不做的方式，好像一下子从庞大的信息量中脱离出来了。It’s like a digital detox (数字排毒).

It also says something about modern culture.我们总是持续保持高效和娱乐的状态（be productive or entertained）。But doing nothing — that’s a statement (状态) too.

所以，有的时候试着“无所事事”一下，也是一种“反向努力”。这也是一种新型的“佛系打卡”。
