蔡崇信，在商业领域堪称传奇人物。

1964 年出生于中国台湾的法律世家，他 13 岁赴美留学，

后于耶鲁大学取得经济学学士和法律学博士学位。

从税务律师到私募股权行业，蔡崇信凭借深厚专业素养积累了丰富经验。

1999 年，他毅然加入当时尚处初创阶段的阿里巴巴，担任首席财务官，

在公司发展历程中，多次主导关键融资，助力阿里巴巴成功上市，

为其腾飞奠定坚实基础。

如今，身为阿里巴巴集团董事会主席，蔡崇信不仅在商业领域持续领航，

还积极投身体育投资等多元领域。

I used to prioritize exercise over sleep.

我过去常常把锻炼看得比睡眠更重要。

So for example, you arrive at 6:00 in the morning, you know, you go to the gym.

比如说，你早上六点到（某个地方），然后就去健身房。

Now, I prioritize sleep over exercise.

现在，我把睡眠看得比锻炼更重要。

There's a book that I would recommend everybody to read.

有一本书我推荐大家都去读一读。

It's called why you sleep.

它的名字叫《为什么要睡觉》。

Basically, what it says is that 99% of the people in the world

need at least seven to eight hours of sleep.

基本上，这本书里说世界上 99% 的人至少需要七到八个小时的睡眠。

And if you think you're that 1%, you're not.

而且如果你认为自己是那 1%（不需要这么多睡眠的人），其实你不是。

That's not the way to live.

那不是正确的生活方式。

You're gonna crash yourself if you don't get enough sleep.

如果你没有得到足够的睡眠，你的身体会垮掉的。

语法小贴士：

“I used to prioritize exercise over sleep.” 中 “used to do sth.” 是一个固定结构，表示 “过去常常做某事（现在不做了）” ；“prioritize...over...” 意思是 “把…… 置于…… 之前；认为…… 比…… 更重要”。

“There's a book that I would recommend everybody to read.” 中 “that I would recommend everybody to read” 是定语从句，修饰先行词 “book”，“that” 在从句中作 “read” 的宾语；“recommend sb. to do sth.” 表示 “建议某人做某事”。

“Basically, what it says is that 99% of the people in the world need at least seven to eight hours of sleep.” 中 “what it says” 是主语从句，作整个句子的主语；“that 99% of the people in the world need at least seven to eight hours of sleep” 是表语从句，作 “is” 的表语。

“And if you think you're that 1%, you're not.” 中 “if” 引导条件状语从句；“you think” 后面 “you're that 1%” 是宾语从句。
