For many patients, a visit to the doctor’s office triggers more than just clinical concerns. There’s anxiety. Uncertainty. Sometimes even fear. And not necessarily because of a diagnosis—but because of the entire experience of being a patient in a complex, often intimidating environment. As we said in our last episode, we enter our clinical facilities every day, and the experience is familiar and a bit ho hum for us. Our patients visit us infrequently, and the entire visit can be much dreaded and a huge ordeal.
