Secret History #25: Capital of Evil

Secret societies, praying to gods like Satan or Saturn, enable elites to commit terrible acts without personal responsibility, maintaining power through authority, conformity, trauma, and manipulation. Transnational capital has evolved through merchant oligarchies in Venice, the Dutch Republic, England, and America, each building upon the last via Protestant Reformation and Enlightenment ideals, ultimately turning money into a god.
