Human behavior is fundamentally dictated by focus, where attention directs physical actions and responses. Visual cues exert greater influence than auditory ones, meaning people prioritize what they see over what they hear. To effectively influence others, one must first secure their attention by framing information as a "secret" or a personal inquiry. Furthermore, combining two commands—such as "stand up and come on stage"—significantly increases compliance. Social interactions can be subtly guided using a specific linguistic formula: raising the voice at the end of a sentence, adding the word "or," and maintaining silence. This technique forces the listener to mentally complete the sentence, often leading them to provide the desired response, such as declining an offer or choosing to leave a social setting.
