On Episode 121 of the Daebak K-Rambles Podcast, Jess and Curtis from the InfatuAsian Podcast wrap Spooky Season 2026 with a review of the 2024 K-drama A Shop for Killers, starring Lee Dong-wook and Kim Hye-Jun.

Jess and Curtis dive into the stylish, relentlessly violent world of A Shop for Killers, unpacking the K-drama thriller’s secret family legacy, deadly inheritance, and John Wick-style siege that turns ordinary college student Jian into a fight-for-survival heroine. The duo explores the drama’s biggest American cinematic influences, while digging into its locked-room survival setup, nonlinear storytelling, action sequences, and the central question of whether Jian will accept or reject the violent legacy she inherited from her uncle, Jeong Jinman.

Whether you're looking for a spoiler-filled A Shop for Killers Season 1 review, ending explained, character analysis, or a breakdown of why this K-drama thriller became such a standout, this episode has you covered.
