🎯 Rob’s BEST Piece of Advice for Wantrepreneurs and Entrepreneurs

“If I'm to sell what Sally buys, I need to see the world through Sally's eyes.”

This old saying is the foundation of Rob’s approach to business and relationships. It’s a powerful reminder that true success comes from genuinely understanding and empathizing with your customer. Before you build, market, or sell anything, you must first see the problem from their perspective.

📢 Memorable Quotes

“Our approach was to lasso or tether AI to a very specific task… Give them information at the moment their decision is about to be made, whether they're going to click on something, forward something, buy something.” – Rob Bright
“You have to treat the web and your digital devices just like you do a dangerous city… You're cautious. You have to be super militant and cautious here. And we've built a tool to give you the intelligence to say yes, no, delete this, go ahead with the buy.” – Rob Bright
“While I won 3 or 4 President's Clubs awards in the past, if I'd had AI back then, no one could have caught me. I mean, I would have been so far in the lead.” – Rob Bright

💡 Actionable Takeaways

Find Your "Sally": This week, schedule a call with a current or potential customer with the sole intention of listening. Don't pitch. Ask open-ended questions and practice seeing the world through their eyes.
Identify a Personal Problem to Solve: Think about a challenge you or your family have recently faced. Could a business solution have helped? Brainstorm what a simple, tech-enabled MVP might look like.
Outsource a Task to AI: Pick one task you typically do yourself or pay for (e.g., writing social media copy, drafting an email, creating an image). Use a tool like ChatGPT or Claude to complete it and see how much time or money you save.
Define Your Discipline Pillars: Identify the 3-5 most important areas of your life (like Rob’s: faith, family, finances, health). Write them down and use them as a filter to eliminate distractions and stay focused on what truly matters.
