# James Gunn EXTENDS DC Studios Contract! What Does It Mean for the DCU? | Kristian Harloff Show

**James Gunn is staying at DC Studios!** Gunn has reportedly extended his contract as co-head of DC Studios, giving us a much clearer picture of who will be guiding the future of the **DC Universe**. On today's Kristian Harloff Show, we discuss what the extension means for **Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Supergirl**, and the larger DCU plan moving forward.

With major questions surrounding **Batman: The Brave and the Bold**, the future of Wonder Woman, and the next phase of DC Studios projects, does Gunn's extension signal that Warner Bros. remains confident in his long-term vision? And how could the changing landscape surrounding Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount impact those plans?

Plus, **Tom Cruise and Anne Hathaway** are reportedly teaming up for **Days of Thunder 2**, with a 2028 release date. Could Tom Cruise successfully revive another one of his classic franchises after the massive resurgence of Top Gun?

At the box office, **Coyote vs. ACME** is making noise while **The Dog Stars** struggles to connect with audiences. We'll break down the latest numbers and what they could mean for both films.

And Marvel is bringing Earth's Mightiest Heroes back to the big screen with **Avengers: Endgame Encore**. The new trailer is generating major attention, but why is Marvel pushing Endgame again now, and what could it mean heading toward **Avengers: Doomsday** and **Secret Wars**?
