Could Florence Pugh be joining the James Bond universe as Moneypenny? A new rumor claims the Thunderbolts*, Avengers: Doomsday, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day star is being eyed to lead The Moneypenny Diaries, a potential James Bond spinoff series for Prime Video. On today's Kristian Harloff Show, we discuss the rumor, whether Florence Pugh would be a good fit for Moneypenny, and what this could tell us about Amazon MGM's larger plans for the future of 007.

With the search for the next James Bond continuing, could Amazon be preparing an entire connected Bond universe beyond the main movies? And if Florence Pugh does become Moneypenny, would she also appear alongside the new 007 on the big screen?

Plus, we finally have an update on the long-awaited ThunderCats movie. Director Adam Wingard says the project is still alive, and a new draft of the script was completed earlier this year. After years of development, could Lion-O, Cheetara, Panthro and Mumm-Ra finally make their way to the big screen?

Tom Cruise is also weighing in on the future of Paramount and Warner Bros. Cruise says he's confident in the promise that a combined studio could deliver 30 theatrical movies per year. Is that realistic, and could a renewed focus on theatrical releases be exactly what Hollywood needs?

And Christopher Judge, the voice of Kratos in the modern God of War games, explains why he turned down the opportunity to play Kratos in live action. With Dave Bautista now taking on the role, Judge discusses the intense physical demands that ultimately kept him from becoming Kratos on screen.

Today's show covers some potentially huge developments across James Bond, ThunderCats, God of War, and the future of Hollywood. Florence Pugh potentially entering the world of 007 could be the first sign that Amazon has much bigger plans for James Bond beyond the next theatrical movie.

We're also discussing whether ThunderCats can finally escape development and make it to the big screen, Tom Cruise's optimism about the future of theatrical movies, and why Christopher Judge ultimately decided against playing Kratos in Amazon's live-action God of War.
