Marvel Studios' X-Men reboot script is reportedly getting some major praise, and one insider has described the upcoming MCU movie as Batman v Superman meets The Breakfast Club. What exactly does THAT mean for Marvel's new take on the X-Men?

On today's Kristian Harloff Show, we break down the latest X-Men reboot rumors, what this surprising comparison could tell us about the tone and story, and whether Marvel Studios is finally ready to deliver a completely different kind of mutant movie.

With a new generation of X-Men preparing to enter the MCU, expectations are incredibly high. Could the Breakfast Club comparison point toward a character-driven story focused on the relationships between young mutants, while the Batman v Superman comparison suggests a much larger conflict happening around them? And after decades of Fox X-Men movies, what does Marvel need to do to make its reboot feel fresh?

We also have a major Avengers: Doomsday release date update. The next Avengers movie appears to have secured an earlier release date, but has Marvel moved the film to avoid going head-to-head with Dune: Part Three? We discuss the potential box office battle and whether moving Doomsday gives both massive movies more room to dominate.

Plus, Maisie Williams is finally addressing rumors about returning to the world of Game of Thrones for an Arya Stark spinoff series. Could HBO actually bring Arya back for another adventure in Westeros?

And Nintendo has revealed the logo for the upcoming Legend of Zelda movie, with Shigeru Miyamoto teasing the story and meaning behind the film's title. What can we expect from Link and Zelda's jump to the big screen?

Today's biggest discussion is all about Marvel Studios' X-Men reboot. Calling the movie a combination of Batman v Superman and The Breakfast Club certainly raises some eyebrows, but could that combination actually be perfect for the X-Men?

The franchise has always balanced huge superhero conflicts with stories about outsiders trying to find their place in the world. If Marvel can combine that scale with a strong character-driven story, the MCU's X-Men could feel very different from the previous movies.

We're also discussing the potentially huge Avengers: Doomsday vs. Dune: Part Three box office situation, the possibility of Maisie Williams returning as Arya Stark, and the latest developments surrounding Nintendo's Legend of Zelda movie.

If you're a fan of X-Men, Marvel Studios, MCU, Avengers: Doomsday, Doctor Doom, Dune Part Three, Game of Thrones, Arya Stark, Maisie Williams, The Legend of Zelda, or the latest movie and television news, this episode is for you!
