Could The Batman Part II actually surpass the first movie? Sebastian Stan is making a massive comparison, describing Matt Reeves' The Batman Part II in terms of The Godfather Part II. That's an enormous statement, and it immediately raises expectations for Robert Pattinson's return as the Dark Knight.

On today's Kristian Harloff Show, we discuss what that comparison could mean for the sequel, how Matt Reeves can expand Gotham without losing what worked about the first movie, and whether The Batman Part II could become one of the rare sequels that actually surpasses its predecessor.

We also have a new update on James Gunn's Man of Tomorrow. New production talk is making the rounds as DC Studios prepares for the next chapter of its Superman story. What can we expect from the follow-up, and what could it mean for the expanding DCU?

At the box office, Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey continues its incredible theatrical run by breaking another major record. We also discuss the latest CinemaScores and what audiences are saying about some of the weekend's other big releases.

Meanwhile, I Play Rocky is generating major buzz following its TIFF premiere. Peter Farrelly's new drama is already being discussed as a possible Oscar contender. Could this become one of the biggest awards-season surprises?

And Zack Snyder is back with The Last Photograph. The first reactions are arriving, giving us an early indication of how audiences and critics are responding to Snyder's latest project.
