Spider-Man: Brand New Day has officially made box office history! Tom Holland's latest Spider-Man movie has reportedly become the highest-grossing movie ever in North America, adding another enormous record to what has already been an unbelievable theatrical run.

On today's Kristian Harloff Show, we break down the historic success of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, how the movie reached this level, and what it means for the future of Spider-Man in the MCU. Has Tom Holland's Peter Parker become Marvel Studios' most important character heading into Avengers: Doomsday, Secret Wars, and Spider-Man 5?

Then we turn to a LOT of DC Studios news.

James Gunn is pushing back on expectations for major cameos in Man of Tomorrow. With speculation surrounding Batman, Wonder Woman, Blue Beetle and other DCU characters, Gunn appears to be trying to keep expectations under control. Is that the right move, and what should Man of Tomorrow actually focus on?

There may also be some concerning developments behind the scenes at HBO, with reports that multiple DC television projects have stalled in development. What does this mean for James Gunn and Peter Safran's larger DCU plan?

Zack Snyder is also opening up about the end of his DCEU, the theatrical version of Justice League, his experience with Joss Whedon's version of the movie, and even his involvement consulting on James Gunn's Superman. Years after the SnyderVerse came to an end, Snyder has plenty to say about how everything unfolded.

The biggest story today is the extraordinary performance of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Tom Holland's Spider-Man has reached another box office milestone, and the question now becomes what Marvel and Sony do next with a franchise operating at this level.
