The Paramount and Warner Bros. merger may have just cleared one of its biggest remaining hurdles! Paramount and state attorneys general have reportedly reached a settlement that will allow the massive Warner Bros. merger to move forward. What happens next, and what could this mean for some of the biggest franchises in Hollywood?

On today's Kristian Harloff Show, we break down the latest development in the Paramount-Warner Bros. merger, what the settlement means for the deal, and the enormous questions surrounding the future of Warner Bros., Paramount, HBO, DC Studios, and their respective movie and television franchises.

One of the biggest questions is obviously DC Studios. What happens to James Gunn and Peter Safran's DCU once the merger is finalized? Could Paramount's leadership change the current strategy, or will Gunn and Safran continue building their DC Universe as planned?

Meanwhile, Supergirl has found new life on streaming. The DC movie is reportedly the #1 movie on HBO Max, but Warner Bros. isn't revealing exactly how many people are watching. Does its streaming performance change the conversation surrounding the movie after its disappointing theatrical run?

If you're a fan of Warner Bros., Paramount, DC Studios, James Gunn, Resident Evil, Supergirl, Marvel Studios, Avengers: Secret Wars, Narnia, Daniel Craig, Alan Ritchson, Helldivers, or the latest Hollywood news, this episode is for you!
