Guest: Joe Maurici, Founder and Director of Vitas Advisory, EO Adelaide Member since 2023
Host: Linh Podetti, EO Sydney member since 2022, CEO of Outsourcing Angel.

Joe Maurici started his accounting firm at 27 with one big sign on a road that 30,000 cars passed every day. For years he ran it the way his barber father ran his shop: do everything yourself and keep every dollar of profit. It worked, but it came at a huge personal cost.

In this episode of the EO Business Podcast, Joe and Linh Podetti talk about the wake-up call that changed how he leads. They cover finding the right mentor (and then a second one), applying "Who Not How" to make two key hires, and building a business that doesn't depend on him. Joe also shares how a plan to make his millions and move to Thailand led him to his wife, how losing his mum led him back to faith, and why stepping up as an EO forum moderator taught him to "fight to listen".
