On the Switzer Show he named two decisions he would take back, defended the board that has been blamed for the rest, and argued the case that Australia's most protected airline was never protected at all.

In this week's feature interview:

What he would have done differently on the outsourcing that ended in the Federal Court

Why he would now have cancelled the flights and let the call centre melt down

Why he says Australia is the most open aviation market in the world, and Japan, Singapore and the United States are not

What happened when Qantas challenged Airbus and Boeing to build an aircraft neither wanted to build

His answer on Richard Goyder, the board, and the Chairman's Lounge question

Whether a CEO who was good for shareholders can claim to have been good for customers
