Google Research released Harness², an open-source framework allowing AI agents to dynamically improve their performance by rewriting system prompts, guardrails, memory, and tool guidance without modifying model weights, yielding up to an 11.8% boost on complex benchmark tasks. Meanwhile, Elorian introduced Glimpse, a visual reasoning model equipped with a "visual scratch space" that can dynamically crop images, re-inspect video frames, and execute verification code mid-thought.

We’ll talk about:

Framework enabling AI agents to autonomously optimize their prompts, memory, scripts, and subagents on the fly using persistent historical libraries.
Dynamic vision architecture capable of re-inspecting source images, cropping regions, and running verification code during inference.
Major corporate governance shift dedicating equity to support safety research, direct aid, and workforce impact initiatives.
Internal benchmark updates moving Replit defaults from Claude to OpenAI following shifts in code generation preference.
