John Passalacqua, CEO of First Phosphate, discusses the latest drilling results, project progress, and the growing importance of phosphate in the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery supply chain.

With LFP batteries rapidly becoming the dominant chemistry for energy storage and EVs, phosphate is emerging as a critical battery material. The conversation covers the company’s 40,000m drill program, government backing, feasibility plans, and why North America and Europe are racing to secure domestic supply.

Key topics include LFP battery demand, critical minerals strategy, phosphate market trends, and the shift from exploration to development.
