Letícia Simionato and Przemek Koralewski of Fastmarkets join Rock Stock Channel (Howard and Matt) to talk about South America’s growing role in the lithium market, key takeaways from the Fastmarkets Lithium Conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina’s improving mining outlook, DLE momentum, China’s influence in the lithium supply chain, and Fastmarkets’ new digital spot platform for lithium price discovery and trade initiation.

The discussion covers why Argentina is emerging as one of South America’s most dynamic lithium markets, how lithium brines remain a low-cost opportunity, why DLE is gaining credibility, and how greater transparency, standardisation, and liquidity could help the lithium market mature.
