The selloff in the US bond market deepened on Monday after President Donald Trump rejected Iran’s latest proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, dampening hopes of a diplomatic breakthrough to end the war. The decline pushed most Treasury yields higher by nearly 10 basis points by noon in New York, with those on 10-year bonds climbing to a fresh 19-year high. Meantime, Iranian officials have privately expressed pessimism about reaching a deal to end hostilities with Washington and reopen the Strait of Hormuz before US midterm elections in November.

On today's episode:

Patrick Murphy, former Acting Secretary of the Army & US Congressman
Bob Chapek, former Disney CEO
Rebecca Walser, Founder & CIO at Walser Wealth Management
