Today, you're going to hear the story of a 6-year-old who is transforming in front of his parents’ eyes after a traumatic birth he suffered with colic and just constant crying. And now, as a 6 year old, was dealing with terrible daily tantrums.

His chiropractor, Dr. Chantal Shelstad, evaluated him with CLA INSiGHT scans for thermography, EMG and heart rate variability. This was so validating for his parents (and many others) as they could see the evidence in the nervous system of the issues they were experiencing.

We discuss how this child’s nervous system was stuck with a “foot on the gas pedal.” This sympathetic dominant response was even affecting his digestive system.

Dr. Chantal also shares about her journey as a mother, a doula, and now a chiropractor! She beautifully explained her goal as a chiropractor to help children and adults to become more flexible and adaptable to life’s challenges, building resilience and opening curiosity.

Stay for the end of the conversation where she shares her top advice for chiropractic students, including visiting and shadowing as many chiropractic offices as possible.
