What takes a man out of a successful career in BioTech and leads him to be a chiropractor, and then all the way to being the president of a chiropractic college?

Today on What Chiropractic Doesn’t Cure: Stories of Innate, we share TWO stories. One is about what got Dr. Jack Bourla into chiropractic and the second story is about what has kept him here.

He is a great speaker and storyteller, blending humor with deep truth. I asked him how he manages to share personal stories without making it about him. How does one share chiropractic with personality and purpose?

He responded, “I think when you have a certain reverence for the work that you do, and you understand how important it is. It no longer becomes about you, it becomes about other people.”

We also dig into the layers underneath the stories into the Chiropractic principle. What are the 33 Principles of Chiropractic? Why does this philosophy matter for a doctor's certainty, confidence, and competence?

Dr Jack Bourla has been the president of Sherman College of Chiropractic since December of 2022. He practiced for 25 years in California and has been involved in the chiropractic community in many easy including, including serving as the Dean of Clinics at the Life Chiropractic College West Health Center, and as an active member of the International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations (IFCO). He speaks around the country and internationally about chiropractic, inspiring leaders and students alike.
