Thank you for joining us for our 2nd Cabral HouseCall of the weekend!

I'm looking forward to sharing with you some of our community's questions that have come in over the past few weeks…

Alyssa: Hi! After having our first baby I started getting eczema on my hands. Very itchy, small bumps with clear liquid in them. It flared up again after having our second baby and my hands are now extremely dry, cracked, have the little bumps and what I've read could be a wet eczema. Any idea why this is happening or how to clear it up? Thank you!

M: Hi Dr. Cabral, Firstly, thank you for such a brilliant podcast. I've learned so much from you over the years and really appreciate the practical way you share your knowledge. My 10-year-old son was recently diagnosed with a plantar fibroma after we noticed a firm lump in the arch of his foot and had it confirmed by ultrasound. I listened to your HouseCall episode #2011 where you discussed plantar fibromatosis and recommended proteolytic enzymes for adults. What approach would you recommend for a 10-year-old? Are there any underlying factors you would investigate, or natural/conservative therapies you would recommend to help prevent the fibroma from growing or potentially reduce it? He is very healthy and active and currently takes DNS, magnesium and omega-3s. Thank you.

Mohamed: Hello Dr.Cabral, just beginning my 7 day detox. Looking forward to it, Ive been researching a lot lately about ampK and Nrf2. The benefits of up regulation of ampk are incredible, I know you also touched on this. But can you elaborate and give a actionable plan with diet, exercise, supplements to boost ampk and get benefits from Lipid Control • Glucose • Oxidative Stress • Inflammatin • Endothelial •Toxic Protection • Apoptosis of maligniant cells and not in normal cells in response to a stress. From my research, berberine came up. But are there others? Thanks!

Jennifer: Our pediatric dentist has recommended that my 4 and a half year old daughter get crowns on every tooth because she was born with a bright white line along the gum line of every tooth and within a year had cavities on every single tooth. We got filings and silver paint to try to remedy the situation but within a year after all the fillings either came out or more cavities erupted on every tooth. We brush twice a day and against my original wishes do use fluoride for her now as well. I think we have to move forward with the dental work but can you tell me which lab tests I should run to make sure there's nothing else severe going on. I can use my subscription perk to do HTMA but if I need to do more I can. Our dentist said she had only seen one other case like this in her 25 years.

Mary: Had bloodwork run. I take 2.8g Omega 3 (1,400 EPA, 1,000 DHA), Vit D 5,000, Garlic (Aged fermented black garlic 600 mg, garlic allium (400 mg), Berberine 2x day (Equilife), cell boost, Nattokinase (Equilife), red yeast rice 1,200 mg includes 200 mg coQ10, and other supplements not related to what I'm writing about. My total cholesterol went from 210 to 226 from two years ago, triglicerides 119 to 330, HDL 61 to 46 & LDL 126 to 133. I eat very little meat, although I do eat cheese and sweets. I walk 15,000-20,000 steps a day. Only changes I can think of is in the last 1 1/2 years I have a way out of the ordinary amount of stress because of several factors. I ate (1/4c) steel cut oats every morning for years & recently switched to DNS shakes. Added psyllium. Not sure what else to do.

Thank you for tuning into this weekend's Cabral HouseCalls and be sure to check back tomorrow for our Mindset & Motivation Monday show to get your week started off right!
