China’s recent successful test of the Long March 10B reusable rocket booster marks a significant milestone in its space program, narrowing the operational gap with SpaceX. While SpaceX currently maintains a lead in launch cadence and satellite volume, China’s robust industrial base and multi-pronged engineering approach allow for rapid iteration and potential long-term parity.
