总觉得结尾绕来绕去不知道怎么读，

要么把 “-ure” 读成 “油儿”，要么直接吞掉卷舌音。

failure/ˈfeɪljə(r)/

n. 失败；失败者；未做；未履行；故障

发音时需注意：

1.双元音 /eɪ/ 要饱满，从 /e/ 滑向 /ɪ/，口型由半开到扁平，不能读成短促的 /e/；

2.英式发音的音节划分为fai+lure，没有儿化音

3.美式发音的音节划分为fail+ure，有儿化音

例句：

Failure is the mother of success.

失败是成功之母。

Failure is not the opposite of success; it’s part of success.

失败不是成功的反面，而是成功的一部分。
