To foster better connections, speakers should employ nuanced language that hedges opinions, such as describing something as an "acquired taste," noting that it "grew on" them, or acknowledging that a recommendation "might not be for everyone." These phrases demonstrate consideration for the listener and create space for balanced, authentic conversation.
