Dion Hershan is Executive Chairman and Head of Australian Equities at Yarra Capital. Today on the podcast, he gives us a new name for the largest stocks on the Aussie share market: The Mundane 7 (made up of the big 4 banks - Commonwealth, NAB, ANZ and Westpac - and the 3 large miners - BHP, Rio Tinto and Fortescue).

In this episode Dion advises us to avoid the Mundane 7 and shares where he thinks the biggest growth opportunities in the Aussie share market reside: the ASX 200 outside the biggest 20 companies.

In this episode we also dive deep on two companies that Dion thinks exemplify the opportunities outside the Mundane 7 - CAR Group (CAR) and NextDC (NXT).
