Asia is more than half the world's population and most of the world's economic growth. It is as varied, with established, slower-growing economies like Japan and China and faster-growing economies like India and Vietnam. It is home to some of the world's most cutting edge technologies, like semiconductors in Taiwan and South Korea. And home to some future resource superpowers like Indonesia.

Within that opportunity set, Gary Monaghan and the team at Fidelity are plying their trade, searching for the best opportunities amongst the thousands of publicly-listed companies.

In today’s episode we speak to Gary about the opportunity in Asia:

The Fidelity investment philosophy and how that translates to Asian equities
Why Gary thinks we should be investing in Asia
The biggest misconceptions about Asia he hears from investors outside the region
Which country Gary thinks is 'next up' after China and India
We finish by deep diving on two stocks that Gary thinks best represent the Asian opportunity
