In today’s episode of The Daily T, Camilla Tominey and Tim Stanley examine the long-awaited and much-scrutinised defence investment plan, introduced by Sir Keir Starmer.

Despite the outgoing Prime Minister and the Chancellor sharing carefully choreographed mutual congratulations, military experts, senior political figures and Donald Trump were among those to condemn the £15bn package.

Meanwhile, Camilla and Tim speak to Baron Ben Houchen of High Leven, the Mayor of Tees Valley, about Andy Burnham’s credentials as Labour leader and why his grand plans for devolution are not feasible.
