In this episode of the DeviceTalks Weekly Podcast, SetPoint Medical CEO Murthy Simhambhatla gives listeners an audio glimpse of what attendees at DeviceTalks Minnesota will hear during the Bringing NeuroTechnologies to New Markets panel.

As he explains in this interview, Simhambhatla—an experienced MedTech executive—was initially skeptical of SetPoint’s potential after being invited to lead the company. But the more he read, the more he became convinced the vagal stimulator could help fight inflammation. “Cytokines don’t lie,” he said. Today, SetPoint Medical has FDA approval, is building a commercial plan, and is considering future financing, including a possible IPO.
