之前的《如何快速阅读》已经告一段落，之后会开启如何写作，但很多原理是跟阅读通用的，包括文章的架构，句子的架构等，写作的部分会在之前的基础上，不定时给大家出一些额外的内容。

今天先讲点轻松的：英文大小写规则

� 本期的知识卡片我们整理在下面啦：

① 句首 & 专有名词

规则：

句首字母大写

专有名词（人名、地名、节日、机构、品牌）→ 大写

例句：

I met Mary in Paris during Christmas.

② 头衔（称谓）大小写

名字前 → 大写：

President Obama

Professor Wang

名字后 → 小写：

Joe Biden, the former president of the United States

③ 方位词：方向 vs. 地区名

方向（位置）→ 小写：

north of the city

go east for two miles

地区名称 → 大写（通常带 the）：

the West

the Middle East

the South

④ 商业领域中的大写规则

部门 → 大写：

Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Legal…

专业线 → 大写：

Risk Management, Corporate Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions

业务动作 → 小写：

公司增长过程中涉及了 mergers and acquisitions（不大写）

但作为部门/课程 → 大写：

我在 M&A 部门工作

我上了一门 M&A 课程

⑤ 缩写：什么时候要全拼？

第一次出现 → 全拼 + 缩写：

Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

常见缩写 → 直接使用：

CEO, MBA, HR, AI

如果不确定 → 全拼更礼貌。

礼多人不怪。

⑥ 行业缩写容易搞混

SaaS = Software as a Service

OKR = Objectives and Key Results

KPI = Key Performance Indicators

PM = Product Manager

PMM = Product Marketing Manager

提示：对外沟通时尽量使用全拼。

⑦ 标题大写规则（ACP 原则）

以下三类不要大写：

A = 冠词：a, an, the

C = 并列连词：and, or, but, so, yet

P = 小介词（4 字母以内）：on, in, with, by…

⑧ 动词永远都要大写

包括所有系动词：

is, are, am, was, were

⑨ “to do” 中的 to 不大写

标题中的不定式 to 永远小写：

️ What to Do Next

⑩ 长介词（超过 4–5 字母）要大写

常见需大写：

About, Above, Across, After, Against, Along, Among, Around, Before, Behind…

例：

The Calm Before the Storm

Life After Work

⑪ 标题大小写示例（正确）

️ Gone with the Wind

️ Call Me by Your Name

️ Before Sunrise

️ All Quiet on the Western Front

⑫ 超简黄金法则（总结版）

头衔在名字前 → 大写

地区名 → 大写

专有名词（部门、专业、行业）→ 大写

缩写首次出现 → 全拼

标题遵守 ACP 原则

系动词 always 大写
