Candace's life starts to unravel as questions arise about her credentials and finances. Charlene, Candace's client, grows suspicious and enlists the help of Sam Brower, a private investigator, who discovers Candace has no business licenses. Charlene buys the licenses to prevent Candace from legitimizing her businesses. Sam Brower alerts the Attorney General, leading to an investigation. Candace's erratic behavior escalates, marked by extravagant purchases and inconsistent stories. Her assistant, Aura, discovers bounced paychecks and credit card fraud, prompting her to cooperate with the investigation. As Candace's lies are exposed, those around her begin to question her true identity and motives, culminating in her arrest on multiple charges.
