Supreme Court Ruling on Deportations:
- The Supreme Court lifted a block from a US District Judge, allowing the Trump administration to deport suspected illegal alien gang members under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act.
- The ruling was described as narrow, focusing on the proper venue for the cases rather than the administration's use of the law.
- The decision was a 5-4 split, with the Supreme Court finding that the migrants had improperly challenged their deportations in Washington, D.C., instead of Texas.

- Attorney General Pam Bondi described the Supreme Court decision as a landmark victory for the rule of law.
- Bondi emphasized that an activist judge in Washington, D.C., does not have the jurisdiction to control President Trump's authority to conduct foreign policy.
Trump's Stance on Tariffs:
- Senator James Lankford commented on the media's portrayal of Republican support for Trump's tariff policies.
- He suggested that the real challenge to Trump's tariffs would come from the courts, not Congress.
- The Senate narrowly approved a tariff control bill, but it was unlikely to pass in the House.

- Trump reiterated his commitment to fair trade deals and substantial tariffs on countries like Japan and China.
- He emphasized the need for reciprocal trade agreements and criticized previous administrations for putting America last.
Direct Talks with Iran:
- Trump announced direct talks with Iran over their nuclear weapons program.
- Iranian-backed militias in Iraq expressed willingness to disarm to avoid conflict with the US.
- The document highlights the seriousness of the situation and the potential for military action if negotiations fail.
