Bob Dalton is an Activist, Speaker, and Entrepreneur. He is the Founder and CEO of Sackcloth & Ashes, a mission-driven company that gives a blanket to a homeless shelter for each blanket purchased.

In this episode, Bob shares how his Mom’s journey with homelessness, and a quote on a coffee cup, inspired him to start his business and make a meaningful change to the homeless population in the US.

Bob also talks through why not having the resources or the know-how shouldn’t stop you from getting started and testing your idea, and what he’d say to entrepreneurs in that position.

You’ll learn the question to ask yourself when you are in the midst of facing your entrepreneurial obstacles and how to build resilience to tackle new obstacles effectively.

Bob gives you a simple business plan that led his business to be featured by Instagram’s own account, and grow 100% year over year. He also talks through his advice to entrepreneurs wanting to leverage Instagram as part of their marketing strategy.

You’ll also hear Bob’s take on advocacy versus advertising when it comes to building a brand, his top productivity and time management tips, including only committing to what you feel you are supposed to do and his philosophy behind trying to contribute and create more than he’s consuming in business and life.
