Lorena: I was listening to your show on the problem with fermented foods and you mentioned some people having issues with detoxifying sulphur due to genetics. I’ve personally seen this with my clients where they get anxiety and foul smelling gas after consuming anything that is high in sulphur including glutathione. And no, this is not a bacterial or Candida issue because these are individuals that have done the CBO protocol. So what would be your recommendation? Not consuming any crucíferos veg or any supplements that are sulphur based? Thank you in advance for your reply!

Joanna: Hi Dr Cabral What are your thoughts on food based prenatal supplements vs normal prenatal supplements containing the methylated forms of nutrients? Would you recommend a food based prenatal as a suitable source or best to stick to something such as the Daily nutritional support? I do read that food based is more bioavaliable but i do wonder if some may require more then this? Many thanks

Summer: Hi doc!My brother has a titanium plate on his collar bone.He’s concerned that he is sensitive to titanium & that it could be causing unnecessary stress to his body. He’s thinking of having it removed, but he’s also not crazy about being bombarded with what comes along with surgical procedures.So is there a way to tell for sure if his body is suffering ill effects from this plate? Is there some kind of test to run for titanium?He’s done the minerals/metals test & done the heavy metal detox.What should he be looking out for as far as side effects from a titanium sensitivity, & if he is in fact sensitive to it, what can be done?Would it be best to have it removed & then rebuild his gut after the surgery? Would like to know for sure before opting for surgery which is always a last resort

Sue: Hi doctor Cabral, I really hope you can help me out with the following: I have no problems falling asleep (around 10pm), but I keep waking up at least 4/5 times between 3am and my wake-up time (6am). I try to do everything right: my last meal is at 6pm, I stay off the phone, wear blue light blocking glasses, do not drink alcohol, my room is cold and dark .. I just don’t know what to do about it and you are my last hope! Just to give you some additional details: I’m a 45-year-old female, plant-based, lift weights and walk 6 days a week, regular cycles, do intermittent fasting 12-16 hours a day. Please let me know if you have any tips or tricks, I would be eternally grateful. Thanks so much for all you do, Sue

MaryAnn: Hello, do you recommend anything for Raynaud’s syndrome? My brother has severe sleep apnea and Raynaud’s syndrome and so far the doctors have done nothing but tell us it’s not occurring because he looks so fit and healthy even though his hands look horrid as if they’re always constricted and he can’t sleep due to the pain. He eats a very healthy lifestyle and does not eat any gluten. We’re feeling a bit frustrated since we’ve gone to the top medical institutes in Southern California including UCSD. Since he visually looks very fit aside from his hands all the western doctors say it’s fine and just try to prescribe him drugs that have nothing to do with it like benzodiazepines.
