About Tara Baker:

I'm the [uber] passionate founder and editor-in-chief of Dancing With Her – a multi-platform wedding and lifestyle destination with a focus on disrupting, challenging and inspiring a space that is otherwise unrepresentative of a diverse community.

But, that's not everything I do.

Starting a print magazine in a digital world was a risk - a risk that really paid off. You see. Not only was awarded a Forbes 30 under 30 award after just one year in business [#humblebrag - I even appeared in the print edition of the mag!] I was introduced to the world of digital marketing, and I fell in love.

Digital marketing has propelled my first business into international success & continues to help my business thrive. Social media, in particular, has helped us connect an audience of more than 200K like-minded LGBTQ+ people in love. The community we've built has made us long-lasting friendships, meant we've been able to travel the world & it's even been the catalyst to love for those who have met in our comments section!

I'm also a leader in inclusivity and diverse representation of broader communities, particularly within the wedding scene, but increasingly within the startup and entrepreneur space. I get the opportunity to advise businesses on diversifying not just their team, but also their marketing efforts. Because celebrating all people is so, so important to me.
