In the SEC, Tennessee did what Kansas and Marquette couldn’t – won on the road at Alabama to take sole possession of first in the SEC. Most importantly – the Vols did so without needing Dalton Knecht to have a massive performance. Elsewhere in the SEC Florida had a double-digit lead at South Carolina but couldn’t hold on, while Kentucky has won three straight but allowed at least 89 points in each. Can Coach Cal’s crew win with that defense? Gonzaga picked another quad 1 road win at St. Mary’s late Saturday night, almost assuredly assuring themselves a ticket to the dance.
