
Dropshipping via AI offers a potential path to passive income, but achieving significant profit within a strict seven-day timeframe remains challenging. By leveraging AI tools for niche selection, store construction, and product research, it is possible to launch a functional e-commerce business with minimal upfront investment. However, the success of such ventures relies heavily on effective advertising and product-market fit. In a practical test, a pet-focused store generated $402.41 in revenue but yielded only $81.56 in profit after accounting for $320.85 in operating costs, including meta ads and subscription fees. While the experiment failed to reach the $1,000 profit target, it demonstrated that AI-driven automation can significantly reduce the technical barriers to entry, allowing individuals to build and test online stores with minimal manual effort and limited capital.
