Real-world asset (RWA) tokenization is transitioning from isolated proofs-of-concept to production-ready infrastructure by prioritizing utility, compliance, and cross-chain interoperability. Current limitations, such as siloed private chains and the lack of portable compliance, are being addressed through the T-REX network, which utilizes the ERC-3643 standard to embed regulatory requirements directly into tokens. By integrating Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) via Zama, institutions can now maintain necessary confidentiality while operating on public blockchains, enabling secure, transparent, and automated asset management. With major commitments like Apex Group’s plan to bring $100 billion of assets on-chain, the focus is shifting toward standardized, purpose-built infrastructure that facilitates liquidity, reduces operational costs, and automates complex workflows like corporate actions and dividend distribution, ultimately bridging the gap between traditional finance and decentralized ecosystems.
