Furthermore, the "next best dollar" investment now spans the entire business—including packaging and supply chain—requiring more patient, holistic measurement frameworks rather than reactive, short-term metrics. However, organizational inertia remains the primary bottleneck; successful "agentic readiness" requires CEO-level buy-in to bypass traditional, slow-moving compliance cycles for low-risk metadata updates. As commerce embeds further into media environments like smart TVs, brands must prioritize agility to remain visible in an increasingly splintered discovery landscape.
