Regeneron Acquires 23andMe Assets
Pharmaceutical giant Regeneron won a bankruptcy auction to acquire most of 23andMe’s assets for $256 million, including its Personal Genome Service, Total Health, Research Services, and biobank. This deal will boost Regeneron’s genomics-driven drug discovery using 23andMe’s DNA data. The transaction, pending court and regulatory approval, is expected to close in Q3 2025.
AMD Sells ZT Systems Manufacturing
AMD agreed to sell ZT Systems’ server manufacturing business to Sanmina for $3 billion, retaining its AI system design and support teams. Sanmina will become AMD’s preferred manufacturing partner for cloud and AI solutions, with the deal set to close by the end of 2025, pending regulatory approval.
