Michael Venuto is CIO and Co-Founder of the Tidal Financial Group, responsible for Toroso Investments and ETF Think Tank. As a self-confessed ETF nerd, with over a decade’s experience designing and implementing ETF-based investment strategies, in 2014, Michael was selected as an ETF.COM All-Star, and is regularly quoted in leading publications including Reuters and Barron's.

Prior to Tidal Michael was Head of Investments at Global X, where he provided portfolio optimisation services to institutional clients. Before that, Michael was Senior Vice President at Horizon Kinetics, a New York-based investment adviser.

We discuss Michael’s ETF Industry Index, which measures and monitors the performance of publicly traded companies that derive revenue from the ETF ecosystem.
