This edition of Fresh Air Weekend features two interviews: the first with Julian Brave NoiseCat, who discusses his book "We Survived the Night" and the documentary "Sugarcane," which explore the history of Canadian missionary boarding schools for indigenous children and his own family's experiences with them, including his father's abandonment as an infant; the second with Laufey, an Icelandic musician, who discusses her musical background, influences, and her new album, "A Matter of Time," and also performs several songs.
