Jane Goodall

This episode of Fresh Air features two interviews with Jane Goodall, the renowned primatologist who died recently at the age of 91. The first interview, recorded in 1993, discusses her early work with chimpanzees, her challenges to scientific norms, and her experiences in Gombe. The second interview, from 1999, covers her path to primatology, her relationship with Louis Leakey, her experiences raising a child in Tanzania, and her groundbreaking findings on chimp behavior, including tool use and violence, and also includes a review of the movie "A House of Dynamite".
