Flat Water states, "Apocryphal and apocalyptic means 'uncovering'... translated literally from Greek, it is 'a disclosure of knowledge' i.e., “a lifting of the veil or revelation.” "(Ancient Greek: ἀποκάλυψις apokálypsis, from “ἀπό and καλύπτω” mean “uncovering") At the end of this book, Solomon crushes some bugs so he can sleep with a certain woman. He probably thought it was no big deal at the time, but it was a big deal. It symbolized a rebellion against God’s commandments. He paid the price. You shall have no other God’s before Him. You may think that your transgression is tiny, no big deal... but to God… who truly loves you, who is pained by your transgressions and is long suffering, it makes all the difference in the world."
